TKM have been working alongside Amnet for the past 6 months, supporting their strategic growth and market positioning across EMEA and North America. Amnet are a progressive business providing unmatched pre-media expertise for the many Global Brands and Agency Partners they support.
Following a very successful 6 months, we were keen to showcase the relationship we have developed with Amnet. So, Aaron Chugger (a TKM Analyst) sat down with David Pritchard, Amnet’s London-based Commercial Director responsible for navigating the business through its EMEA growth curve, to discuss Amnet’s services and unique market proposition.
AC: David, what’s the Amnet offering, in a nutshell?
DP:
Design & Production. We have now significantly increased our omni-channel footprint by establishing a retail division with a strong pedigree in packaging, point of sale and ad production, with artwork, retouching and reprographics at its core. We naturally have one eye on the future, whether it be smart packaging, accessibility or a constant drive for digital advertising. Our continued investment in technology is paramount to our success.
Content. Amnet is fundamentally a content business. We transform content so that it is readily available and optimised for consumption across a whole range of digital and print media. By transforming engaging and powerful content across channels we are able to offer a full publishing service to our clients to help them remain relevant, competitive and profitable.
AC: What makes Amnet Different?
DP:
Amnet has developed and maintained a strong, entrenched position within the market. This is due to its distinct approach, placing emphasis on robust communication and developing enduring, long-lasting partnerships. At the core of this are Amnet’s vision, values and pioneering concept of Smartshoring.
Smartshoring is Amnet’s emphasis on harnessing the best talent in the world, wherever that talent may be. This helps to ensure that our clients benefit from the commercial value, flexible resource, speed to market, clear concise communication and unparalleled quality that Amnet aims to provide. Smartshoring is integral to the ability of brands to stay competitive, increase profits and accelerate growth.
AC: Tell us a little about Amnet’s Projects
DP:
The last 6 months has seen the creation of some wonderful partnerships, through our channel partnership programme.
Amnet now work with 4 of the top 10 ten global cosmetic brands; supporting packaging pre-media artwork and reprographics, helping to reduce turn-around times and drive cost-efficiencies. As a result, the agencies have been able to create increased volume and capacity, whilst also enjoying the benefits that economies of scale and Smartshoring bring.
Additionally, we are supporting a major integrated agency in the production of digital ad banners and are currently in discussions about developing a more strategic global partnership. Amnet have provided a measurable difference by providing the agency with a structure that allows them to take on volume confidently.
As a business, we’re always keen to illustrate quality and cost savings through pilot projects, to ensure our partners feel comfortable and have boardroom buy-in, before we can accelerate volumes and drive profitability for our many customers.
AC: How’s the Amnet-TKM relationship developing?
DP:
TKM and Amnet have been working together for just over 6 months. Being a progressive business, we are always keen to listen to new ideas and ways of working. TKM have certainly fine-tuned our “go to market” approach and have demonstrated significant expertise in strategic business development. We always look to engage with senior stakeholders and brand owners and TKM have been instrumental in developing c-suite relationships.
TKM have been ‘brilliant’ to work with, not least because of their knowledge and expertise in relation to marketing strategy, marketing operations & technology and rigorous project management. TKM have introduced Amnet to individuals who are directly responsible for cost centres; this allows us to better impact businesses creating a measurable difference.
The value that TKM have provided has been both internal and external. TKM have helped refine Amnet’s market positioning and define our USP. Through understanding Amnet’s message, TKM have also developed promotional materials and assisted with the design of amnetpackaging.com.
AC: David, what’s next for Amnet?
DP:
Going forward, Amnet aims to sustain its position as a leader in the market in terms of both quality and services. We aim to partner with a greater number of brands, expand our services and continue to develop long-term relationships. We’re very excited about the market opportunities available whilst staying true to our values.
